Motion
On Image 7 I used a 1/250 of a second shutter speed. The ISO was 400 and the white balance was set to cloudy. I froze a jumping action. I was relatively close to the subject and shot straight on. The photo follows the rule of thirds as the focus of the image is not centered. The photo has varying textures within the bricks, the trees, the grass, the sweater, and the hair. There is an interesting line that follows the subjects legs. There is contrast as the subject is darker than the background.
Image 3 has a shutter speed of 1.3 seconds and an ISO of 800. The white balance is probably fluorescent due to being inside. The action frozen is running. The distance is close and the photo is taken straight on. The colors of the photo are bright and interesting. The slow speed gives a cool effect of seeing the motion of running. There is no distinct subject of the photo so the rule of thirds does not apply.
Painting with Light
For the third photo I used a shutter speed of 2 seconds. To create the painting multiple light sources were used, these being string lights, a lightsaber, and a light up ball. To achieve this image multiple people played with the light sources. Because some light sources were infront of a person and some where behind, a silhoutte was captured. I feel as though the photo is mysterious. It is pretty abstract but because of the silhoutte and the colorful lights I feel as though the photo looks like something out of a scifi movie. I think that viewing the photo brings up a lot of questions for the viewer and also allows the viewer to create a story to fit the picture.
