I selected this photo because I feel is though it is humorous and tells a small story. Compositionally, there is unity within the figures against the wall and this unity is contrasted by the lone figure lying on the ground. The photo has a shallow depth of field as the two men up front are in focus and the figures in the back are out of focus. To take this photo I had the camera set on 1/30 of a second and at f/6.3. I feel as though the photo has a hint of symbolism. The figures leaning against the wall are struggling to hold themselves upright and the man on the ground has fallen and lost the struggle to hold himself up. Despite this deeper meaning, there is also a bit of humor because that one figure has fallen.

I feel that this photo has an interesting composition because of the fingers and car have lines that lead your eyes across the photo. There is also a good amount of negative space which allows the viewer to concentrate on the main focus of the photo. The texture of the hair is very detailed in this photo and the curls are all easily seen. The aperture on this photo is f/5.6 and the ISO was set to 800. I chose this photo because the bright red car is very eye-catching and stands out among the more neutral colors within the rest of the photo.

I love this photo because the water really leads your eye out of the spout and into the drain of the bubbler. You can really see the movement of the water. The water also has a smooth and defined texture. To take this photo, I set the ISO to 1400 and the white balance was set at incandescent. I chose this photo because of the interesting break in the water coming out of the fountain. I also feel like this photo looks very crisp and has beautiful lights and darks in the water and the metal.

This is one of my favorite photos that I have taken. Almost all of the photo is dull and grey except for the small speck of color on the figurine. To achieve this, I put a grey tint on the entire photo and then erased the tint where the figurine is. This photo follows the rule of thirds because the figurine (the main focus of the photo) is not centered. There is also a cool pattern of rock on the background wall. The photo has a skillful use of space and size because most of the photo is taken up by the grey and background space. To take this photo I set the ISO to 6400 and the aperture was at f/6.3 for a large depth of field.
